47 Rabbits rescued from a hotel room
#1
Someone staying in a long term hotel was found to have 47 rabbits in her room. She started with one neutered male and then brought in a young male and female.
Over the next 15 months the rabbits multiplied and multiplied.  Now there are 47 rabbits in one room. One Tail at a Time Animal Rescue has been asked to take some of the rabbits in and care for them. It is a request they never expected.

This is a real lesson for everyone who has pets. Some pets can multiply  very quickly.  Always spay and neuter your pets. One rabbit can become 20, and even 40 or more faster than you would expect. Little rabbits are delightful, but finding homes for so many is no easy task. The woman should have stopped when she had one happy rabbit. It can't have been much fun this past year. No matter how hard she tried she would not have been able to keep up with their care.

I hope they are able to find loving homes for all those rabbits.
