More Chinese mystery boxes shipped with live animals
#1
They are still shipping mystery boxes containing live animals in parts of  China. A local rescue group intercepted a shipment and saved a lot of puppies and kittens.
It is not legally allowed to ship animals like this, but it is also not well enforced.  Until it is, many animals will die in transit unless a rescue group finds them in time.

These were lucky little puppies and kittens. Other shipments are not so lucky and many of the animals die.
Since the government is not pushing to enforce laws against such shipments, it is up to the people to stop this by no longer ordering mystery boxes.
That is the only thing that is going to end this. Please stop ordering the boxes.

In view of the relative disinterest of the government there, meaning little or no legislation against such atrocities, about the only way to put people off the current social fad for these mystery pet boxes is to criticise them at source: the Chinese social media, which is fuelling this. Let us hope that the compassionate souls in China who are fighting this will turn to social media to combat the naive people paying to receive what could be a sick or dead animal in the post, just because it is the latest fashion.

The saying used to be, "The pen is mightier than the sword". These days, it should be, "The keyboard is mightier than the sword".

Well put. A good social media campaign could change everything.
