Tesco Stores staff check for dogs left in hot cars
#1
Three cheers for Tesco! Britain is in the midst of a heatwave with some places experiencing temperatures of 31 or 32 C, (89+ F.)
The major British supermarket is sending their staff out to patrol the car parks to check if there are any dogs left in hot cars.

Good for Tesco. They are taking dog safety seriously.
There are other places who check for dogs in cars.

I am hoping there are more places that watch for dogs left in cars.
What I don't understand is people still leaving dogs in cars. There are stories in the news every year about dogs who have died or been rescued just in time from a hot car. Everyone knows the danger. I have to assume these people don't care or they just don't believe the danger is real.

With heat waves getting worse the problem of dogs left in cars is going to get worse.  I hope other stores will follow Tesco's example.
