The Guelph Humane Society is doing pet portraits as a fund raiser. The "artists" are actually a couple of board members with no art training.
People send them a pet picture and they do a drawing. The drawings they have produced are quite unique and expressive.

In an odd way the drawings capture something of the pet they are drawing. You have to admire the board members who are putting themselves out there to help the shelter. It is an odd fundraiser, but I like it. The donkey picture is cute although the nose looks a bit like a pig. It is a good effort for a good cause.
