Wildlife in catastrophic decline because of human activity
#1
In 2020 the WWF put out a report  outlining the effects of human activity on wildlife. No matter how bad we think it is, it is actually worse.
In the last 50 years wildlife have declined by 42%. Over one million species are facing extinction. Plants, animals and insects are all in danger.

Another perspective on the same report.

David Attenborough Has done a documentary called Extinction: The Facts

I think this is a working link to the video.
David Attenborough believes we can reverse this trend. We would have to change how we live and how we do things.
We can't continue on the way we are. The results will be catastrophic, not just for wildlife, but for us too since we share this planet.
We have to change how we live on this planet and we have to change how we view the planet.
Simply put, we need to live in harmony with the planet and the rest of life on the planet.

If anyone doubts the seriousness of the situation, remember that ultimately the current pandemic is a result of out failure to live appropriately with nature.
There are plenty of viruses out there. We need to not do things that put us in contact with them.
