Movie theatre/cat rescue
#1
In a small town north of Toronto is a small movie theatre that also serves as a local cat rescue. It started with a few cats and now they care for 48 cats.
Cat lovers have been able to visit the cats and watch a movie.
During the pandemic, the Highlands Cinema has been closed, but the community has not forgotten the cats. Donations have come in steadily.
It has been enough to keep them going. If all goes well, the theatre will be open to the public in the spring. Until then, the cats call the theatre their home and the community is there for them.

This is a delightful idea, a theatre full of rescue cats. It is even better than a Cat Café.  It is nice to know that it is there and to hear that the local people have kept the theatre/shelter going.  I think there are a lot of good things happening out there. We just don't always hear about them.
