Lobster rescued from grocery store
#1
A rare orange coloured lobster was spotted in a Toronto grocery store. (It would have been alive in a tank full of other lobsters waiting to be killed)
The woman who noticed his colour called the local Aquarium and he was rescued and now lives  at the aquarium.

I think it is great that the lobster was rescued. What would have made this a really great story, would have been the rescue of all of the other lobsters in the tank.
They were left behind to be boiled alive.

Even greater would be to leave them in the ocean in the first place. Do we really need to eat lobsters?

Another rare orange lobster has been found. He will end up in the same tank as the first orange lobster.

I wish the other lobsters could have been spared. One good thing that could come of this is the publicity. People are seeing the lobsters as interesting live animals.
They are not just food anymore. Right now they are only interested in the pretty coloured ones. Maybe someday people will look at the other lobsters and see a creature that wants to live, just as much as the orange one.
