We hear a lot about over weight pets. We know excess weight can shorten their lives. We know it would be a good thing if they lost weight.
Here are pictures of animals that succeeded in shedding the extra pounds.

It is amazing how different they look. They look more alert and happy. That one very fat dog is just lying there not moving. In his slim picture he is sitting up alert, and happy looking. Pets don't feel good when they are over weight. They have no energy. They can't even groom themselves. If anyone ever doubted that their pet would be happier if they lost weight, they just need to look at these pictures.
