Before I say anything, I want to say that I am in favour of space exploration. That issue is for another discussion.
However, as SpaceX expands its facilities, it is destroying sensitive habitats of endangered species. As they move on to new adventures off the planet, they need to show respect for the planet and its habitats. The damage they are doing could have serious consequences.

No species should be put at risk because of human activity. In particular, space exploration should not harm those creatures that will be staying behind on the planet. It is their home. Respect it and leave it as you found it. Don't make space exploration an ecological bad guy.
