Jaguar Bridge opens at San Antonio Zoo
#1
With the help of donors, San Antonio Zoo has opened a Jaguar bridge that allows the Jaguars to walk from on enclosure to another  in an enclosed walkway above the exhibits. They big cats get to look around the zoo from above and visitors get to look up an see the cats on the prowl.
It is park of a new south American exhibit called Neotropica. South American animals of all kinds will be exhibited around each other to create a more natural environment.

I think the idea is really creative. Cats like to climb. Jaguars would feel quite at home viewing their world from above. Having other South American species around will create a natural atmosphere that feels right for all of the animals. It would be worth a trip to San Antonio to see it.
