Live hamsters found in Pet Smart dumpster

Pet Smart throws lots of good stuff out so people check other their dumpsters. This time the person doing the search found a box that was taped shut.
Inside were 3 live hamsters. From the picture I can tell you they are dwarf hamsters.
When confronted the store denies throwing the hamsters out. They did try and keep them and that seems like an admission that it's their hamsters.
Pet smart head office has not yet responded to the situation.

This is not the first time live animals have been found in the dumpster of a big box pet store.
Maybe we are all going have to take shifts checking the dumpsters at these big stores. It is bad enough that there staff frequently knows nothing about animals.
They also have little regard for the animals.
Poor little dwarfies. They could have had a horrible death taped in a box in a dumpster. 

Pet Smart should have to answer for the way it treats animals.
