Betty White challenge benefits local Alberta animal shelter
#1
The Betty White Challenge is to donate $5.00 or more to a local animal rescue on Jan 17, 2022, the day that she would have celebrated her 100th birthday.
The donations have already started to come in for the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society. To make it even better, they have a donor who will match donations up to $1000.00.
The Edmonton Humane Society has also seen an increase in donations because of the challenge.
January is a slow donation month so the extra donations are very welcome.

If they are seeing an increase in donations in Alberta, no doubt they are seeing an increase in donations elsewhere.
It seems Betty White has found a way to carry on her work for animals even after her death.

I wonder if this could become a regular thing. Maybe every Jan 17 could be Betty White Donations Day. All we have to do is make up our minds to do it.
If enough people do this it really could become a thing. Then Betty White really could continue her work after her death.
