Animal free dairy, the future of milk?
#1
Global food companies and linking up with Biotech firms to do precision fermentation.  The technique uses animal DNA in the process, so the milk tastes like milk.
They have the technology; they just need to work om marketing.

This is not like the early efforts of GMO foods. This is going to be producing a product that people want, but in a sustainable way. This could put an end to the dairy industry as we know it. There would be no more cows abused to produce milk and there would be no more slaughter of unwanted male calves.
It is early days, but it would be a solution to factory farming. I just have one question. Could lactose intolerant people drink this milk? If so, it would solve another problem.  It is early days; we just have to wait and see.
