A tangle of Garter Snakes
#1
Every year hundreds of garter snakes emerge from their winter dens in Narcisse Manitoba.
The land is the site of one of the world's largest denning sites. In the fall, snakes enter the limestone caves to sleep out the cold Canadian winter.
In the spring, when it warms up, they all emerge at once. Even wilder, the males form a tangle around the females and try to breed them.

This is an incredible sight. Nowhere else in the world would you see so many snakes at once.
The government should pay more attention. This area needs to be studied and protected.

I think they should ban all the people who want to hold a snake. These snakes don't want to be held.
