Brazil is on fire because of climate change and record droughts
#1
Brazil is feeling the effects of climate change. Severe droughts have brought rivers to new low levels. The heat and drought have resulted in uncontrolled fires.
The people and animals are desperate. Animals have had to change their habits to survive the conditions.

I think this quote from the article that says it all:  “The planet is no longer waiting to make the next generation pay the price and is fed up with climate deals that are not fulfilled.”
We have tended to think of climate change as something that is happening slowly. We think of it as a problem we are leaving our grandchildren.
The consequences are now and we are the ones who will have to deal with them. Sadly animals all over the globe have to deal with the consequences too. Many  animals have already died and many more will continue to die. I just hope we can do something to change the direction we are going.
