It is Reptile Awareness Day and it is a good day to learn about reptiles and how important they are to our ecosystems.

Reptiles eat a lot of rats and mice. Think of the impact that has on agriculture. Without reptiles we would have a lot less crops to harvest.
Reptiles benefit us more than they harm us. We can learn to coexist with reptiles and have everyone benefit.
I am going to celebrate the day with my reptiles. If you don't have a reptile you could watch a documentary about reptiles.
I highly recommend David Attenborough's Life in Cold Blood.
I watched it with my reptiles and they thoroughly enjoyed it.
