European Hedgehogs have declined by 30% in the last decade. The big problem is habitat loss and fragmentation and pesticide use.
Loss of habitat means they have no where to live. Pesticide use means they have nothing to eat.

If we want hedgehogs to survive we have to restore enough habitat for them to live.
We have to start farming in a nature friendly way. We need to stop the pesticides. Hedgehogs are just one species that is impacted by pesticides.
We put all our pollinators at risk too. If we want a world worth living in, we need to do things differently. Hedgehogs are a warning to us that we are doing things the wrong way.
