Another Beluga dies at Marineland
#1
Marineland is in the news again and not in a good way. A fifth Beluga whale has died this year. That makes 17 deaths since 2019.
Whale dies at Marineland is becoming a common headline. No explanation is being given for the death.
Marineland is being inspected and has been cited for poor water quality. The conditions the whales endure are not acceptable.

Marineland is the last Canadian aquarium to hold captive whales. That sentence needs to be past tense. They need to have been the last aquarium to hold captive whales. The whales keep dying because they do not belong on captivity like that. Their living conditions are not acceptable. They need to be transferred to a sea sanctuary or somewhere more suitable.
Marineland needs to be shut down.

Why isn't it shut down? I think that is a question for the Ontario government who seems to be protecting them. Why?
