The cartoon, The Far Side always had a funny way of presenting animals. They were always more that we recognized.

I always loved The Far Side animals. There was always something unexpected about them.
Cows and chickens discussing complex math or dogs defending the city from a giant mailman, always something you wouldn't expect.
I think in some ways Gary Larsen taught us to see animals a little differently.
