In November a Golden Eagle was found on a road in Prince Edward Island. He seemed to be unable to fly. He certainly wasn't a local bird.
The people who found him guarded him until the Humane Society could catch him. The bird ended up in the care of Hope For Wildlife, where he has been receiving care. They could find nothing wrong, but with care the bird has grown stronger and is now in a flight cage. The Eagle is ready to fly.
As soon as the weather is right he will be released to carry on with his winter journey.

It is hard to think of an Eagle being lost or just too worn out to fly.
Good thing helpful people found him. They protected him and got him help.
Now a few weeks later the bird is well enough to be released.
I think they saved the eagle's life. That would be something to remember happily for the rest of your life.
