A little black and white cat crawled her way up a driveway and basically started to freeze to the ground. Animal rescue Pet Friends cat coordinator was nearby and rushed to help when called. The cat was so cold they didn't know if she could survive. Her temperature didn't even register. It took some time to warm her, but she woke up and turned out to be the sweetest cat. She was microchipped, but her owners didn't want her.
She has been recovering in a foster home and one of the vet techs who saved her has decided to adopt her.

That was fortunate for the little cat. If she had not been seen when she was, she would have frozen to death.
It was close. She made the right choice when she crawled towards a house.
She was microchipped so her people must have let her out in this cold weather. There is no way a cat should be out in the cold we have been experiencing in North America. I would say the cat is lucky to have survived and lucky to be going to a new home. I am sure she will live surrounded by love and comfort for the rest of her life.
