A man drove his dog to the dog park. There is a camera so we can see him and the dog. He has the dog on a leash and the dog's tail is wagging. He thinks they are there for a walk. The guy tied the dog leash to a pole and walked back to the truck, leaving the dog behind. He then drove off and left the dog.
It is winter and it is cold. If the dog had been out there too long, it would have died from the cold.
Police are looking for the guy

This is so sad. The dog still believed in the guy and thought they were having and outing at the dog park. I can't imagine how the dog felt when the guy drove off or when time went by and he didn't return. Dogs are trusting. He probably still hoped the guy would return for him.
He could easily have driven to an animal shelter and left the dog. Deliberately driving to a dog park and leaving the animal outside is abandonment, but it is also a cruel act of abandonment. I think they will find the guy. Someone will recognize him or his truck. He will be charged and he deserves to be charged.
