Pearson International Airport in Toronto just hired 15 Therapy Dogs to help calm nervous travellers. They are part of a St John's Ambulance program to provide therapy dogs wherever they are needed. The dogs will be in various places in the terminals and passengers can spend some time with them.

Suddenly the idea of a delayed flight does not seen so bad. Having a dog present will change the whole mood of the busy airport. A dog in the room seems to make everyone feel a bit better. These dogs are trained to greet people so they will make the whole airport arrival departure stress a lot easier to take.

Now if only they would have therapy dogs on the subways in the morning. Going to work would be a much nicer experience.
