On Thursday morning with the weather still bad, people noticed a cat sitting perched on top of a hydro pole. Because of the weather and the location it was decided that he needed help getting down. An Ontario Hydro crew came and safely got him down.

I always wonder why a cat, in the middle of a blizzard, would suddenly decide to climb a hydro pole. It would be much colder up there and it would have been a cold climb. Why not turn back early on. It would make sense to find a cozy spot.
I hope they find his people soon. If not I hope he is adopted by a family that will enjoy a  lively adventurous cat.
That is strange maybe something frightened him.
Animals in Toronto seem to like to climb things. Cats are forever climbing trees and getting on roof tops.
Out raccoons climb construction cranes and make it onto condo balconies many floors up. I don't know why they do it. Maybe they like the view.
