A family took in a stray cat after their old mouser cat died. The new cat, Misty, doesn't do mousing. It seems she invites the mice in to share her dinner.
It is just not in her nature to kill anything. Their friends and neighbours think the cat is very funny. They like the cat the way she is, mice and all, so they are keeping her.

I don't think I have ever encountered a cat that totally doesn't hunt. I have known good hunters who could catch anything. I have known cats that are clumsy and awkward. They couldn't catch anything even if they wanted to. Misty just doesn't want to hunt or hurt anything. The mouse was hungry so she shared her food.
I think that makes Misty a very special cat.
