When there is a living creature involved, you just can't forget. The guinea pig should have had a way to get out of the sun even if it was only out for a short time. If you are too busy don't put the animal out in the first place.
I feel sad for the guinea pig. They are such timid creatures. It would have been scared to be outside anyhow.
