Reports are starting to come out of the Gadhimai Festival. It did take place and many animals were brutally slaughtered.
The efforts of animal activists did have an effect on the numbers. It was still far too many, but it was less than it might have been.

What will it take to end this. Such an act of mass killing is unthinkable. We need to continue with the petitions and the pressure in any other way possible. This must be the last year. In 2024 there needs to be no animals slaughtered. This must be the last time such madness takes place.
