Really sweet that animals get these awards now, but sad that Jake passed away before he could collect it.

Jake....what an amazing and hard working dog! He deserves this award. He lived a good and full life and had a loving family, as well as an outstanding career.
Bless him. May he run free now in beautiful fields across the Rainbow Bridge.

Good for Jake. I am glad he got the recognition he deserved.
I am also glad he ended his life with the officer he served with. Police partners are very close and he would have felt at home and at peace.

I am sure he has been missed by all who knew him.
