Wildside Exotic Rescue takes in 11 wildcats
#1
The Wildside Exotic Rescue has taken in 8 Mountain Lions, 2 Lynxes and a Bobcat from the Cat Survival Trust. The Cat Survival Trust has been closed because
of failure in its animal care standards. It has to rehome all its animals. The Wildside Exotic Rescue has taken in some of the animals, but there are still more needing to be rehomed. There is some concern that animals will be put down if placements are not found for them.

The Wildlife Rescue is home to 189 wild animals. Most of them were kept as pets.
Ms McKenna puts it very well when she said "It's not cool to have a wild animal as a pet, it's really cruel."
Ms McKenna is rescuing wild animals that should never have been captive in the first place. She should be rescuing cats and dogs that need homes.
It is very hard to meet the needs of that many wild animals. It is fortunate for the animals involved that there is someone who can look after them.
