Researchers off of New Zealand observed a shark with something on its head. They were concerned so they tried to get a closer look.
It turned out to be an octopus riding on the shark. Who knows how or why this happened. The two species are from different depths of the ocean.
Researchers sensibly named it Sharkoctopus.

The oceans are a weird and wonderful place, where the unexpected happens. Also the unexplained happens.
They have no idea how a shark and an octopus came together or why they stayed together. Who knows how long they will stay together.
They did come up with a cool name for it.
