Stanley park in Vancouver was without beavers before 2008. In particular, Beaver Lake, leading into Beaver Creek was Beaverless.
Now up to 5 Beavers have been seen at once. They are busy controlling the water flow from Beaver Lake into Beaver Creek.
Why are the Beavers wet? It rains a lot in Vancouver.

It is good to see that Beavers are comfortable returning to an urban park. It is also good to see that the people are happy to have them there.
The beavers could do a lot to control issues like flooding and maintaining healthy water levels.
They will just have to plant more trees, especially trees that grow fast that the beavers can harvest if the need them.
