A couple of weeks ago Toronto Zoo received two new Komodo Dragons. They are four years old and are a brother and sister.
They are still getting used to life in Toronto. The zoo held a voting to select their names. The Female is Raya and the male is Komo.

I can't wait to see them. I can make it to the zoo in December. We lost our beloved Kilat in 2004. Kilat was special because he hatched at the zoo.
Now after months of looking at his sad empty enclosure we will be seeing beautiful young Komodo Dragons exploring the space.
If you can get a chance, you should go and see them. I know I will.
