Animal shelter receives 10 million dollar donation.

Oakville, Milton and Halton Human Society just received a 10 million dollar donation from a very generous donor.
The shelter has long outgrown its building and is in the process of relocating. The hope is to build a whole new facility suited to their current needs and future programs. This donation will definitely help with that.

This is a tremendous gift at a time when the shelter really needs it. Animal shelters are all being strained by increasing animal surrenders. 
Costs have increased. Many shelters are in aging buildings that no longer meet their needs. For one shelter the dream of a better building has become more possible.
