Police kill family's pet donkey
#1
HeeHaw the donkey was hand raised and bottle fed in the family  home. He was a small donkey who even did petting zoos.
He was in his own pasture on Saturday night. The police were looking for a missing person and they entered the pasture without permission.
When the donkey approached them an officer shot and killed him. He was scared of a donkey.
The officer is currently on leave. The family is heart broken and they are raising money so they can take legal action.

The police entered a farmer's field without finding out what was in the field. It could easily have been a bull.
It was a small donkey. They were in his pasture. Shooting HeeHaw was the last thing that should have happened.
There are way too many incidents of police shooting family pets for no reason.
I hope they win their case. Clearly the police need some training about animals and how to respond to them.
Poor HeeHaw did not deserve to die like that.
