The International Union for the Conservation of Nature has produced a new Red List.
The Red List is an assessment of the status of species. Even more animals are endangered.
No species improved its status. Animals in all parts of the planet are in danger.
The list also assesses trees and the results are not good.

So we are facing a crisis. Climate change and species loss are going to change life as we know it and not for the better.
We must act now and we must act wisely if we are going to save biodiversity. We must make changes in how we live if we are to avert the damage caused by climate change. Time is running out for a great many species.
