Animals die in extreme heat wave in India

India is experiencing an extreme heat wave. The temperature is 45C  and more. Birds are falling from the sky. Fish are dying as the waters become too hot. Many bats have died. Stray dogs are desperate for water.
Sadly a troop of desperate monkeys jumped into a well in search of water. They became trapped and 32 of them have died.

We are breaking heat records all around the globe. For some of us it is not so bad. I didn't need to wear my heaviest winter coat more than a week this winter.
In a hot country like India, an increase in temperature is deadly. People have died. Animals have died. Lakes are drying up.
How desperate do you have to be to jump into a well. 
The effects of global warming are being felt, but not equally around the globe. Places like India are experiencing much greater consequences.
We need to take climate change more seriously. The consequences are already becoming deadly and they will continue to get worse.
We need to act while we still can and we need to act globally. This effects us all in the end.
