Elephant sanctuary in Thailand hit by flash floods
#1
Elephant Nature Park in Thailand was hit by flash floods. The sanctuary is home to over 100 elephants and 5000 other recue animals. Many of the elephants are not well. Some are blind or injured. They had to be led through deep flood waters. Two elephants were killed and some are missing. Some of the elephants are still trapped in the sanctuary area.

I wish them luck getting the elephants to safety. These elephants have already been through enough in their lives. It is sad that there are so many injured and blind elephants. That is another story. For now, it is alarming how many places are suffering from floods. It does seem to be a global problem.
