Prize winning pumpkin donated to Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat
#1
A 1,400 pound pumpkin was donated to the Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat. It was given to 1,200 pound Henry the Polar Bear. Henry loves pumpkins.
This time of year pumpkins are donated and the bears have a feast. Henry ate his fill and he wasn't even close to finishing his pumpkin.
He did look very satisfied though. He is so full he needed to just lie there and sleep.

The Cochrane Polar  Bear Habitat is a special place that houses Polar Bears that cannot live in the wild.

It is good that the Bear Habitat exists. It is a place where orphaned Polar Bears can live. Older bears that have been born in zoos can live there.
Any bear that can't live in the wild, has a place to call home.
