Chimps react to crystals
#1
Researchers who have been studying crystals decided to see how chimps would react.
The chimps they worked with were in a rehab center so they had previous human contact.
They liked the crystals. The researchers had to buy back the larger crystals. It took a lot of bananas. The smaller crystals were never returned.
The chimps kept them.

The real question now is why. Why are the chimps interested in crystals?
It is important not to read too much into this. We have no idea what they are thinking.
Humans have long been interested in certain types of stones and rocks. Some birds are attracted to stones.
It will be interesting to see what research projects they come up with and what the results are.
