Lately they have been finding evidence of animal sacrifices on New York City.
A number of different species have been involved. This is very disturbing information.

What is really disturbing is the fact that the US Supreme Court, in 1993, upheld the right to perform animal sacrifices for religious purposes.
New York State Law condemns animal abuse for any purposes. They have a penalty of 2 years in prison if someone is convicted. State laws help to stop this cruelty, but it is a strong message in favor of the cruelty when the Supreme Court upholds the practices.
It is strange that people are wanting to perform animal sacrifices. This is the 21st century and New York is a modern city.
