Merry Christmas to you.
As I sit here looking at snowy sidewalks I will think of you enjoying a bright sunny Christmas day.

That is beautiful weather. Even temperatures in the 20s will feel good. We are not too cold, but the wind and snow make it feel colder.
New Years Eve is an interesting day for a birthday. Your granddaughter will always have a party somehow on her birthday.
It is nice that her mother can be there this year for her 16th birthday. A lot has happened this year and it is ending on a good note.

I work New Years Eve and I may end up working New Years Day.
Next year I will remember to request the day off.
No one wants to work New Years Day.
