Photographer gets closeup of Humpbacked Whale

The photographer was out there on Vancouver Island getting wildlife pictures. He was out in a boat when a Humpbacked Whale breached right beside his boat.
He did get some good shots.

It would be the experience of a lifetime to see a whale that close. For a photographer, to get a picture that close, would be a lifetime accomplishment.
It would have been a bit frightening, but totally worth it.
