A shelter volunteer was just going home at 4am when she got a feeling she should look around. She found a box with 8 kittens in it.
sadly one had already died, but she rushed the others into the shelter and got them fed and cared for. Two weeks later they are doing very well.

When you work around animals sometimes you really have to trust your gut instinct. Who knows what triggered her instinct. Whatever it was, it saved the kittens' lives. Without food and care they might not have been alive when the next person came to the shelter. Good thing she came to the shelter when she did. It is not usual to volunteer at a shelter at 4am. That is a pretty dedicated volunteer. Those are some pretty cute kittens too.
