911 there is an unknown cat on my lawn

This is a classic case of when not to call 911. Someone looked out and saw an unknown cat in front of their house. Yes it was just an ordinary cat.
They called 911 to report it. They were told not to make a call like that again.

I am wondering what they thought the police would do about the cat. Did they expect a SWAT team or perhaps a team of police dogs.
All they had to do  is open the door and say scat cat and it probably would have walked away. A strange cat is hardly an emergency.
People can be so silly.
