Axolotls and known for being able to regenerate complex body parts. They are able to regenerate the thymus, an organ essential to the immune system.

Axolotls can regenerate lost parts. I have seen them regenerate their gills. How are they getting enough oxygen to do that, if it is the gills that oxygenate the blood.
