Shelter dog bonds at an adoption event

A mother and daughter went to an adoption event to see the dogs. They really only saw one dog and that dog saw them. They made a real connection to Piper the one eyed dog. When they came back later to adopt Piper, the bond was still strong. Piper is now in his perfect home and  a family has their perfect dog.

Love at first sight does exist. Sometimes you see a pet and that pet sees you  and that is it. You are going to be together. I am happy to see a shelter dog got that kind of ending to an adoption event.
