I did say after Hurricane Katrina, where people were forced to leave their pets, that people would never be willing to leave their pets again. There is flooding in Quebec and as people are being rescued, every effort is being made to rescue their pets as well. Foster homes have been arranged where needed. Pets are clearly a priority to rescuers.

It is good to know that people are being helped right now with pet rescue. It is also good to know that the attitude has changed since Katrina and rescuing pets is seen as a priority.
