Montgomery County Animal Shelter was saddened to find out that a dog abandoned in a park was one of their former residents. Rigsby was adopted out six years ago. Now at ten years old he was back at the shelter. The people did not want him back. A medical examination showed that he would need hospice care.
Forgotten Pet Advocates volunteer Linda came forward and said she wanted him. She already has an old dog. When the two dogs met they hit it off.
Now Linda, Bentley and Rigsby live happily together, making the most of every day.

Some animals are so special that even if you only share the last days of their lives, it is still totally worth it.
Rigsby is one of those pets. However much time they have, they will enjoy it to the fullest.
I hope they have many days together.
