Bruce the Bird and Mildred

Bruce is a rescue Parrotlet with a lot of personality.
He was at the Exotic Bird Sanctuary and Tina the volunteer took him home.
He loves raspberries and the way he eats them creates works of art.
Bruce was becoming famous. Then something happened to his health. He lost his sight and just stopped enjoying life.
That is where Mildred comes in. She is also a rescue Parrotlet. She started to care for Bruce and help him find his food and water. She groomed him and made him feel better. He has regained some sight and with Mildred's loving care he is more like his old self.

It is amazing what a friend can do. Even a happy bird like Bruce would be lost without sight. Mildred made up for his loss by helping him and caring for him.
Never underestimate the power of a friendship even for a bird.
