A red fox traveled from England to the USA as a stowaway on a cargo ship. He was underweight and suffering from French Heartworm.
Bronx Zoo is caring for him and he is recovering from the heartworm and is gaining weight. They have named him basil.

It sounds like he is a lucky fox. After a long trip by ship, he has found good care and is doing very well. It is not clear where he is going to end up,
but he will be healthy and well cared for.
